Today’s inspiration was from superhero costumes. Every Halloween I think of how to reinvent a traditional costume into something my own and that doesn’t say “it’s Halloween so I’m going to look slutty” (for whatever reason, that’s just not my thing). For those moms out there who’s little boy wants her to be his superhero-mom or the girls who want to show their daring side, this look is for you. I’ve taken every day pieces that could, and should, be in your closet this fall and made a costume. Superheroes call for leather. What better than a trendy fall leather skirt. Pair it with a black top, yellow belt and knee high boots and you’re golden. I chose a Batman shirt but all black could work too. Don’t forget the mystery with a mask and a cape (So what if this cape is from Gucci, it’s amazing)!
