Second as a costume

Today, I was inspired by taking everyday pieces and turning them into Halloween costumes.  As people are deciding what to be and where to go celebrate, it’s a must to wear a costume.  Make your clothes second as your costume.  I’ve put together three different costumes that only take a few, inexpensive accessories to finish off the look.  First, I chose a leopard print dress.  It’s sexy and fierce.  Add in a strappy black heel and some cat ears and you’re ready to go- rawwwwr!  Next up the is classic sailor look.  Take any striped dress, skirt or top in your closet, add in a white sailor hat and heels- ahoy!  Lastly, transform into your inner ladybug.  Take red, black and white pieces from your closet, throw in some polka dots and you’re half way there.  Put on your antenna, wings and red or black heels and you’re ready to fly away.  If you’re looking for more ideas, shoot me an email and I’m happy to help put together looks.

Do you make your own costume?

Cat Ears: Maison Michel Yoko

Striped Dress: Ted Baker

Sailor Hat: Birthday in a Box

White Wedges: Michael Antonio

Polka Dot Sweater: Comme des Garcons

Skirt: Dorothy Perkins

What a lovely collage! Makes me excited for the halloween parties! Although I wouldn’t risk going there in a D&G dress and getting cocktails spilt all over it haha. I will definitely just make my own costume :)
