Today’s runway inspiration is from Daryl K’s Fall 2012 collection. Seriously, this collection made me melt. There’s nothing I love more than black, sheer and simple. I love black for day and night and everything in between. I don’t want to my all black looks to turn Gothic, it’s just not my style. So, adding in sheer fabrics or lace is a perfect way to bring in my girly side to an edgy look. I also love a pop of color. Whether it’s in an accessory or my clothing, it’s fun and gives your look a kick of character. This cranberry pant is beyond fun and still looks sophisticated. I love that when you go through this whole collection you see the romance, Victorian draping and touch of edge with leather. Yes, please Daryl K, let’s play dress up!
