Today, I was inspired by the fabrics at NYFW for Spring 2013. There’s a host of boxy, structured silhouettes, that I’ll get to later this week, but I wanted to start on the softer side of things. These fabrics have a whimsically romantic touch. It’s all about the draping. You’ll see lots of volume popping off tightly, wrapped bodices. This look is bold, yet still overly-feminine. I love the pastel and neutral colors for this whimsical look. More to come from NYFW!
