Today, I was inspired by my weekend getaway to Santa Barbara. I’m headed with a few friends to celebrate a birthday wine tasting and cruising around. I wanted to create a weekend vacation/wine tasting appropriate look. Since you’re usually wine tasting in the hilly vinyards, I’d suggest a look for warm and cool days. A maxi dress is the perfect piece. For summer, be bold and wear a printed maxi. I love a nude sandal. It can take you through any weekend getaway without needing an additional pair of shoes. For accessories, mix your metals to subtly finish your look. Don’t forget your sunnies. A light lens will be great for overcast and going in and out of barrel rooms. Such a great wine tasting outfit… So breezy and colorful! The only thing I would switch out is the clutch … I would prefer a strapped bag so I have both hands free for tastings and pairings!
