The Written Runway

Today, I was inspired by the 2012 Olympic Games.  This evening, the opening ceremony will be airing around the world from London.  I wanted to take London’s style and put my American/personal touch on it.  When I think of London, I think Queens and Kings or layers of mixed prints for streetwear.  I chose this dress because the print is bold while the structure is clean and slimming.  With London’s bi-polar weather, I’d always suggest having a coat close by and who better to wear than Burberry in London (love, swoon, faint- yes please).  For accessories, I took the classic styling with all black pieces.  Oversized sunglasses are perfect when you’re making way through Buckingham Palace.  Might as well hop on a moped and take a ride in these amazing sandals.  Hope you all tune into the opening ceremony tonight and support your country!
