Today, I was inspired by the Olympics. Who doesn’t want to win a gold metal, right? So, I thought I’d put some gold inspired pieces together in the perfect winning style. Unless you’re headed to a Christmas party or awards show, I’d suggest adding in subtle touches of gold to your look. Rich, bold colors like purple, emerald and navy blue look great with gold. I chose a trending peplum dress to start off my look. To give my look some edge, I chose chain link earrings, chain wrapped watched and mesh nude pumps. All of these pieces have a hard edge but aren’t overpowering. I love this white and gold, woven bag. It can go from day-to-night very easily. Lastly, as we head into Fall, gold makeup is trending. I like using a loose dust over my base eyeshadow or over my chapstick for golden lips. An easy way to add in gold is a lip gloss. Throw this in your bag and you’re ready for a golden glow all day long.
