Today, I was inspired by Christian Dior‘s Couture Fall 2012 collection. This collection took a step back to the basics. They’re very clean, gorgeous silhouettes with a modern twist. The bubble dress trend (here), is very strong this Fall. A few finger’s width below the bust, the dress pops out and makes a dramatic hip-like silhouette. This style can be flattering on both small, medium and larger woman. It’s the drama that makes these looks. I also love the classic feel to this collection. The beautiful, deep v-necklines with a simple lapel and business-like details give a very effortless feel. Sometimes, classic and simple makes more than its own statement.
