Today, I was inspired by Bouchra Jarrar‘s Fall 2012 Couture collection. Unlike most other couture lines, Bouchra Jarrar’s collection isn’t full of glittering gowns. This collection has a great mix of masculine streetwear with feminine touches. I love all of their ruffles. The full skirts (above on left and right) are romantic and chic, while the vests have a cool, edgy touch. To get a similar look this fall, try mixing menswear pieces, like a full-leg trouser with a deep v-neck, ruffled top. It is about finding a balance between the two different styles and silhouettes.
