Today, I was inspired by Temperley London‘s Resort 2013 collection. What better timing to show a little London love while the Diamond Jubilee is wrapping up and London is preparing for the Summer 2012 Olympics. Temperley London’s collections always have an English touch to them. I love the big hats. They add an extra element of glamor and sophistication to a simple look. There’s a major focus on cross the body wrapping on many of the pieces in this collection (above on left and right). This cross draping gives a slimming effect to your body. I also love the classic tailored bodice and the bubble skirts (above in middle). To get a similar style, wear solid colors, high necklines and a bold shoe for a pop of your personal style.

That last dress is amazing!
I typically like solid colors better, especially for formal wear. I still love good prints, but the solid colors tend to translate to a more classic look.
