The Written Runway

Today’s menswear post is inspired by Loden Dager‘s Fall 2012 collection.  I had the pleasure of attending this show last week at Fashion Week.  The ambiance, crowd and set was very chic, cool and modern.  It was really important for me to attend a men’s show at Fashion Week (thank you SO much for the invite).  I have a passion for styling men’s looks and wanted to be a part of the vibe and featuring of Loden Dager’s show.  Loden Dager’s collection had a beautiful warm color pallet.  Along with mixing shades of colors together, this collection was based on layering.  No single look had just a top or just a sweater, it was layers, accessories and details that made their bold looks complete.  For fabrics, the used lots of wools, velvets and knit sweaters (give me some more velvet!).  Next fall is all about rich colors, mixing shades and layering up.  Check out my view for the show, I’m up on a balcony (images below).
